Art/Dance Therapy
Art/Movement consists of one to one and group sessions.
It is for those who find themselves overwhelmed by the intensity of their emotions which are difficult to face either by themselves or with others, those with mental or physical learning difficulties and for those who just would like to explore new way to express themselves.
Art/Dance therapy offers an opportunity to explore these thoughts and feelings in a supportive environment. It involves using a wide variety of art materials, for example paints, movement and dance to create a visual representation of thought and feelings.
You don’t need to have any skills or experience in art or dance area.
Every each session is an art of your being.

Our psyche has symbolic nature and it express through creative process. We use artistic materials as a medium to express out deepest emotions, desires and Soul.
Dance/Movement Therapy a creative art therapy is rooted in the expressive nature itself. Dance is the most fundamental of arts, involving a direct expression and oneself through the body. It is the basic form of authentic communication, and as such especially effective medium for therapy.
Movement is the most basic tool by which we learn to exist in the world, relate to others and express our needs, feelings and Self.
Our emotional history is stored in our body. The body doesn’t lie. The way we move, the way we walk, the way we drink our tea is bring it out.
So there is no gap between psyche and body. Fallow Jung theory emotions are the bridge connecting both of them.
Based in the belief that the body, the minds are interconnected, Dance/movement therapy is defined by the American Dance the Association as “The psychotherapeutic use of movement as a process that furthers emotional, cognitive, social and psychical integration of the individual.”
Art/Dance therapy is an effective treatment for the developmentally, medically, educationally, socially or psychologically impaired; and is practiced in mental health, rehabilitation, medical, educational, and forensic institutions. Populations of all ages, races, and ethnic backgrounds are served by art therapists in individual, couples, family, and group therapy formats.
